We love our dogs --- I'm a dog lover, too. I have the cutest Maltese,Sophie, as you can see by the photo here. I'm not any different than you....my dog is like my baby
One thing about this area, is it's very "Pet Friendly". Many of the restaurants have outdoor seating and people have their dogs with them. You can bring your dog into the shops, too, and many of the shop keepers will have water bowls out in front during the summer.

Most of the parks welcome dogs and some have doggie bags for your convenience, but I'd make sure you have one handy just in case. The downtown Paso Park is perfect for that afternoon stroll with your puppy.

Grooming: I take my Sophie to the Petco in the Target Plaza in Paso. They do a great job and they love her up. It makes me feel at ease to leave her even though she shakes like a baby when I drop her off. They are fast, gentle, do a great job on the grooming and really care about my dog. Their number is 805-238-5857. Lisa usually grooms Sophie.
